In the New Year we are excited to start our Victorian topic. The trip to Sevington School, where we dress up as Victorian school children, is always a fantastic experience. For this trip, the children are taught by a Victorian teacher and learn what life was like as a Victorian child.
In literacy we will be looking at the text 'The Street Child' by Berlie Doherty. It is a fantastic text which follows the life of Jim, an orphaned Victorian child.
