Homework relating to the children's Maths and English learning is handed out every Friday. Children are expected to return their homework the following Wednesday, when it will be marked. Homework is designed to further children's learning in school, however, if there are any things that you would like to discuss about your child's homework, please let an adult know and we will be able to support them.

As part of our learning, we will be reading a variety of fiction and non-fiction style texts on Ancient Egypt. Our guided reading sessions will focus on elements of reading that will support our writing. Children will also have 1:1 reading practice at least once every 2 weeks with their teacher, when they will get the opportunity to change their reading books. Please try to listen to your child read daily, fill in their reading diary and ensure they bring their reading book to school every day.
