Here's some of what we got up to in Term 2!
Dinosaur Day
In term 2 we had a special ‘Dinosaur Day’, celebrating all of the amazing learning they have done for their ‘Dinosaurs’ topic this term. The children had the chance to create fossils out of clay, role play dinosaur adventures and practise their colouring and drawing skills! We also worked together in teams and used our art skills to create huge dinosaur collages which looked amazing! Year 1 have loved their dinosaur topic this term and have really impressed us with everything they have learnt.
Maths Mastery
In term 2 w have continued with our maths mastery approach, which involves using practical resources to deepen our understanding of mathematical concepts.

Term one has come to an end and what a super term it has been! We were all impressed with how well the children transitioned into year 1 and with their enthusiasm for our geography focused topic.
