Year 2

Welcome to Year Two's class pages. Here, you will find out about what we are learning and some key information that should be useful!

This term we are learning all about Our Wider World. The children will learn about the seven continents and five oceans and how our actions impact our planet. In English, the children will learn about Arctic animals, writing information texts and about Mary Seacole as part of Black History Month. In maths, we will be covering place valaue and securing our number facts.

Reading

Children are encouraged to change their reading books at the start of the day on a Monday. Please encourage your child to read as often as possible. Even 5 minutes a day make a big difference to reading progress!

Each day your child will need to bring a named water bottle and a weather appropriate coat.
