Raging Rivers

We have had loads of fun in our Raging Rivers topic this term. We were very lucky to have  a BARTS visitor for a river workshop, where we used OS maps, studied cretaures from the local river water (which helped us decide on the river's water quality) and we created our own dams which we tested.

We also enjoyed our River days where we used our knowledge on upper, middles and lower courses of a river to build our own in the wilderness. We also created a soundscape to accompany our river and completed a perspective drawing of a river while practising our tonal pensil skills in art.

At the end of this term, we celebrated Arts week, with another collbraotive project acriss the years. We will put together an exhibition for Parents and carers to enjoy near the beginning of Term 6.
