If you are considering Whitehall as the primary school of your choice, then we thought it would helpful for you to know about our admissions process.
Firstly, all our admissions are dealt with through the School Admissions Department at Bristol City Council. School admissions are the department who you apply to if you would like your child to start with us in Reception. The guide opposite helps to explain this process more clearly. If you would like to contact them, then telephone 0117 9037694 or email them school.admissions@bristol.gov.uk
Places do become available during the academic year and again this is dealt with through the School Admissions Department at Bristol City Council. If you are looking for a place for a child already at school age then you will need to complete a form called an In-Year Admissions form. This is available to complete online or download at www.bristol.gov.uk school admissions. School admissions will add your child's name to a waiting list and then inform you when a place becomes available. School admissions will be able to inform you how many children are already in the year group and how many children are on the waiting list of the year group you are interested in.
If your child was born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018. you should apply for a new reception school place.
